Position: Assistant Professor of Secondary Language Acquisition and Teaching (Tenure Track)

Minimum Qualifications:
• Earned doctorate in education related to the teaching and learning of middle school and/or high school second language acquisition and/or English as a Second Language education (SLAT)
• Ability to pursue a research agenda and external funding in middle/high school second language acquisition and/or English as a Second Language education (SLAT); evidence of scholarly potential
• Ability to teach courses in SLAT
• Ability to teach with a multicultural perspective
• Ability to teach courses in general secondary education
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction including web-assisted and other alternative delivery models
• Ability to integrate inclusion concepts into instruction
• Commitment to collaborative collegiality

Responsibilities:
