Develop websites, plugins, and solutions for the WordPress web platform at WSU. This will involve working directly with our existing multi-network WordPress-based Content Management System (WSUWP), migrating data from existing websites and databases to WSUWP, and training WSU staff in the WSUWP platform.
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years professional experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience working as part of a WordPress development team.
Experience contributing to and participating in the WordPress community.
Experience contributing to WordPress core.
Proven ability to write and review development documentation.
Ability to train clients to use their WordPress websites.
