Under general direction, participates in pre and post-award grant and contract processes; provides support to collect and organize funding opportunities; establishes accounts; reviews and maintains budgets, records, and computer databases; troubleshoots system implementation of grant/contract awards; processes necessary corrections, reallocations, and purchase orders.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with one (1) year of related experience in research or administration, preferably in higher education.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews external proposal budgets and certifications; ensures compliance with University and federal policies and procedures.

Assists in proposal development; conducts funding source studies; assists faculty in proposal development.

Establishes accounts; allocates award budgets; maintains budgets for faculty development programs, including reconciliation and transfers; maintains official award records.

Provides pre and post-award general support; troubleshoots internal and external grant/contract system implementation.

Processes transaction corrections, labor reallocations, check requests, and purchase orders.

Maintains computer databases and project files.

Performs other duties as assigned.
