Frostburg State University’s Office of Assessment and Institutional Research invites applications for a full-time, exempt Institutional Research Analyst position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes University System of Maryland benefits package. 

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Assessment and Institutional Research, assist in the administration of research activities performed for the University community, University System of Maryland, and state and federal agencies. Collect, develop, analyze, and disseminate institutional data. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative-oriented discipline such as statistics, mathematics, social and behavioral sciences, higher education administration, or business/information technology. At least three years of related experience in designing, managing, and implementing institutional studies in a university or similar field setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with team members, faculty, staff, and administrators. 

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with statistical analysis software such as SAS or SPSS. 

Other: Any combination of training and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and progressively responsible related work experience may be considered.
