Detailed Job Description

Under general direction, the web administrator I is responsible for the day to day oversight of technical tasks of maintaining the University’s content management system.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics

Familiarity with PHP, XSLT MySQL, XML, Javascript, CSS3, HTML.
Strong knowledge & skills of content management and maintaining content management systems. .NET and or MVC a plus
Interpersonal/human relations skills
Project management skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. 3-5 years programming experience with PHP, XSLT, MySQL, XML, Javascript, CSS3, HTML is required.

Strong knowledge and skills regarding content management and maintaining content management systems, including .NET and or MVC is preferred. Knowledge of HTML5 and experience maintaining a Windows Server 2012, Linux environment, Google Analytic or other Web analytics platforms is also preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees technical tasks of maintaining the University’s content management system.

Oversees existing and new programming applications.

Responsible for the setup and technical supports of reporting analytical data and systems (CMS, Googe Analytics and other ROI tools).

Meets with other team members and clients to discuss projects and assess tecnical needs of projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.
