The successful candidate will conduct original research in molecular mechanism for telomere maintenance in cells, with an emphasis on telomere biology in cancer cell lines. The successful candidate will be expected to publish research results in peer reviewed journals and present at national meetings.
A PhD degree in biochemistry, cell or molecular biology, or other discipline related to the molecular biosciences; demonstrated expertise in molecular/cell biology; record indicating outstanding abilities and potential in research; and a publication record consistent with background; strong communication skills, both orally and written.
Prior experience in the area of genome stability including, but not limited to, DNA damage and repair, chromatin structure, epigenetics is preferred.
Experience with working with mice is a plus.
