Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting

School of Business and Leadership, full time, one-year-replacement, begins fall term 2016


The School of Business and Leadership is seeking candidates for a full time, visiting professor in accounting; a strong preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to teach introductory financial accounting. Successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in introductory financial accounting, introductory managerial accounting, and an elective in accounting. Standard teaching assignment is three courses per semester.


Ph.D. (ABD considered) in accounting preferred.

For those candidates without a Ph.D. in accounting, the possession of a Master in Accounting, Master in Business Administration, CPA, CMA or equivalent certification and experience in teaching undergraduate accounting will be considered.

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.

A genuine commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education is essential.
