Under general supervision, processes charitable gifts and pledges including credit card contributions, corporate matching gifts, and payroll deductions and payments; provides pledges reminders; communicates with internal and external customers; handles sensitive and confidential information.
Knowledge of database preparation and maintenance

Ability to operate a personal computer and various software programs
Ability to organize and maintain accurate records and files
Ability to prepare and generate reports
High school diploma or equivalent, with one (1) year of additional specialized training; supplemented with one (1) year of related experience.
Effectively communicates with the University payroll department to coordinate deduction of payroll gifts; reviews constituent records for proper application of gifts.
Confirms employee donors have made gifts that qualify for a matching contribution from the employer; completes and submits paperwork regarding donations; fields inquiries from donors regarding matching gift systems.
Prepares charitable gifts for data entry; batches sessions and completes daily deposits; enters data regarding donor gifts, pledges, demographic, and biographic information into internal systems.
Reviews pledge payment reminders; gives careful consideration to donors on a large pledge and those working with a development officer; prepares and mails delinquent pledge payment letters.
Charges credit card gifts; ensures accurate processing; contacts donors regarding inaccurate and declined card numbers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
