The Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a fulltime nontenure track design projects instructor. The instructor will be a member of the AES faculty and will participate in course development and assessment, teaching, faculty governance, and university service.
Candidates are sought who have a graduate degree in either aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical engineering or related field. Applicants must possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills along with the ability to teach and work in a highly collaborative environment. Preference will be given to applicants with prior university teaching, project management and demonstrated systems engineering experience. Exceptional candidates will be considered at the senior instructor level.
Viable candidates should be capable of teaching the application engineering design concepts to audiences from freshman through graduate students, engaging with industry sponsors to generate project support and managing ITAR restricted and proprietary projects at the graduate level.
