Under general supervision, coordinates residency programs in the surgery department in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines; processes registrations; coordinates the resident and student application and evaluation process; creates and maintains databases; compiles and distributes various schedules; provides administrative support.

-Ability to compile reports and coordinate schedules and events
-Ability to operate a personal computer and various software, including Web-based programs
-Ability to maintain records and files
High school diploma; supplemented with two (2) years of related job experience.
Coordinates residency programs and the recruitment process; plans and coordinates interview dates and assists the program directors with that process. Generates correspondence to applicants; prepares and maintains various databases and files; audits findings and communicates results; assists with compilation, preparation and/or coordination of materials, evaluations and reports; coordinates the resident and student evaluation process; compiles and distributes various department schedules.
Coordinates conferences and events; researches information for renewals and summaries; facilitates communication with residents regarding training and policies
Prepares orientation information packets and certificates; distributes rotation evaluations, composes, types, transcribes and distributes correspondennce and other mail
Works independently to keep abreast of knowledge of ACGME and programmatic guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned.
