Job Description:

Prepare bi-weekly payroll; maintain payroll records, spreadsheets and payroll estimates; interact with staff, employees and outside agencies.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division Classification Specification for Accountant II may be obtained at the Human Resources Office or at:


  • Two years full-time or equivalent part-time accounting experience using a computerized system; Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and to problem solve
  • Ability to work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work well with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
  • HRCMS state payroll experience preferred

Salary: $810.89/wk.    

Shift:  Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
