Detailed Job Description

Under general direction, oversees and supervises the processes, tasks, procedures, and reports associated with maintaining the course schedule, including room assignments, grading and registration. Works with departments to develop, coordinate, test, and implement changes to procedures and processes to better facilitate maintenance of the course schedule, registration and grading; supervises staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, with master’s degree preferred; supplemented with zero (0) to two (2) years of related work experience in an higher education setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains the set-up of and oversees the daily operations of: (1) Online registration and faculty online grading, (2) 1818 registration and grading, (3) Inter-University registration and grading, (4), Course inventory and (5) Classroom scheduling for academic classes.

Supervises staff and assists in managing an integrated office.

Communicates with academic departments, advisors and deans regarding academic policies for grading and registration.

Reviews and ensures data integrity in Banner; develops ways to identify incorrect data, including developing specifications for reports, then testing and validating them; Works with various departments (including Information Technology Services) to develop, test, and implement improvements in workflow processes.

Provides office customer service: walk-in, email and phone.

Performs other duties as assigned.
