Detailed Job Description

Under direct supervision of the Program Manager of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, the Data Coordinator manages and administers the Banner Relationship Management (BRM) software suite to communicate with students regarding upcoming opportunities; process data for upload into prospective student “Recruiter” database, ensuring consistency and integrity of data; coordinate Sugar CRM for specific communications with current and prospective students; and, works with the admissions staff for communication to and correspondence with prospective students.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have previous data management experience.
Experience managing a CRM preferred.


Knowledge of Banner Relationship Manager.

Knowledge of Ellucian software products.

Knowledge of confidentiality requirements in regards to FERPA and GRAMA regulations.

Knowledgeable and familiar with customer relationship management.

Knowledge of relationships between manual and automated processes.


Skills in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, power point, internet tools, email systems and other general computer skills.


Ability to provide expert knowledge, advise, training and expertise to administration, faculty, staff and students.

Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and meet project deadlines.

Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing with a variety of individuals and groups.

Ability and commitment to provide excellent customer service; be willing to be a team player, as well as able to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to learn new systems and become an expert while making recommendations to enhance efficiency.

Personality that can network and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Pay Range

$30,052 to $37,565
