Detailed Job Description

This position is responsible for supervising student callers and staff in their efforts to raise funds and gather data for The University of Alabama. The incumbent will be responsible for raising funds for the Alumni Association and other annual fund programs at the University through the Telemarketing Center under the direct supervision of the Assistant Manager of Alumni Fund. The incumbent will implement and coordinate information/policies/procedures needed by student callers to perform their job effectively. This position entails a non-traditional work schedule which will include evening and weekend hours.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and six months of experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Skills and Knowledge:

The ability to interact well with university students, the drive to be successful, integrity/sincerity, exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and/or database management. Excellent written and oral communication skills and budget responsibility experience are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior supervisory experience preferred. 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 29120.04 Midpoint - $ 40767.96
