Provides student account and customer service support for the Bursar’s Office. Works the window and assists students, public, and campus employees with payment processing, account issues, and questions.
High School Diploma or GED required and 1 year related experience.
Knowledge of basic accounting, monies control, and security.
Knowledge of confidentiality and right to privacy issues.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Skills in the use of computers and computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing, etc.
Skills in operating standard office equipment (i.e., fax machine, copy machine, multiple phone lines, ten key, etc.).
Ability to follow directions and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work with the public and work well under pressure.
Ability to perform required tasks with precision and accuracy; must be detail-oriented.
Hiring one afternoon position 1:00pm-5:00pm (M/TH/F)
