Detailed Job Description

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Production and Graphics, the Assistant Project Manager and Archivist assists with organization and planning of marketing/communications and photography projects and archiving graphic assets. This position serves as a liaison between designer/photographer and the client or department. Helps manage and update project database. Enforces all deadlines and encourages University Marketing staff to stay on task throughout the entire project. This position follows University and department protocol to maintain order and standards within the department. This position meets daily to discuss the details of each project and its status with the Senior Director of Production and Graphics. This position archives graphic assets daily or as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus six months to one year of related experience is required.

An individual who meets at least one of the following criteria may apply for this position as an in-house applicant:

-Adjunct faculty status for at least two full semesters immediately prior to the position’s opening date, OR

-Non-Student Part-time hourly employee employed a minimum of 6 consecutive months, working at least an average of 20 hours per week, immediately prior to the position’s opening date.

Professional interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.

Ability to multi-task and assist the Senior Director of Production and Graphics manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range

$10.54 - $13.17 per hour
