This position consults and performs web application systems development work such as analyzing, designing, programming, maintaining and supporting applications, projects, and related databases and database management systems. This position is responsible for business applications used University-wide for fiscal-related functions such as, general accounting, university receivables, purchasing, e-commerce and cash management, as well as business applications related to other units within Finance and Administration, such as environmental health & safety, public safety, and real estate. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing quality assurance testing, performing routine system analysis, maintaining documentation and providing training and support for users as appropriate.
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years professional experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Demonstrated experience in any or all of the following: o .NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET) | J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB’s, ) | XML/XSL | SOAP | Enterprise IDE’s (Visual Studio, JBuilder, etc.).
Knowledge and experience with ADABAS Natural.
Knowledge and experience with Windows operating systems.
Knowledge and experience with .Net 2.0/3.5 and 4.0 Frameworks.
Knowledge and experience with MS-SQL including SSIS and SSRS components.
Knowledge and experience with Enterprise transactional processing.
Knowledge and experience with Network communications, security and administration.
Knowledge and experience with Visual Basic scripting and using software tools in support of business applications.
Knowledge and experience with E-Commerce.
Demonstrated strong business application experience.
Demonstrated strong customer service experience.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
