Under general supervision of Fleet Manager, coordinates the day-to-day operations of the university’s motor pool vehicles. Ensures compliance with all state, and university policies. Supervise part time motor pool technician. Will provide excellent customer service.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree plus one year of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years.
Knowledge of FleetFocus software application.
Knowledge of university fleet policies and procedures.
Knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance scheduling.
Knowledge of principles and techniques of employee supervision and training.
Skills in using computer applications and performing data entry.
Skills with office machines such as printers, fax, copiers, etc.
Skills in communicating effectively with customers.
Skills in defining priorities.
Skills in office methods and techniques.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce university fleet policies and procedures.
Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate daily tasks.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
