Under general direction, provides support for students with a variety of identified disabilities, including responsibilities related to potential review of documentation, assisting in the determination of appropriate accommodations based on identified disabilities, tracking data on students to assure appropriate communication and record-keeping with regard to registered accommodations, and facilitating testing accommodations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred; supplemented with at least two (2) years of related experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provides support for students with a variety of identified disabilities, including responsibilities related to potential review of documentation, assisting in the determination of appropriate accommodations based on identified disabilities

Tracks data on students to assure appropriate communication and record-keeping with regard to registered accommodations, communicates with faculty and serves as advocate for student

Provides daily oversight and leadership to Medical Center Testing Center; including the supervision of graduate-level Proctors, arranges testing accommodations for students in Doisy College and School of Nursing, collaborates with faculty to coordinate receipt of tests; tracks data and assessment practices

Coordinates educational materials including workshops, newsletters, and events regarding disability awareness; collaborates with student organization(s) and faculty in promoting awareness

Other duties as assigned
