Responsible for online content development and for providing oversight of curriculum implementation and alignment in courses delivered online.Responsible for teacher training and support necessary for curriculum implementation.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a master's degree in education, mathematics, or related field. The required experience must include relevant experience in mathematics teaching and/or mathematics curriculum design.The incumbent must clear the fingerprint/background check required by the Alabama State Department of Education for work with the ACCESS Distance Learning Initiative.Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Skills and Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups for successful program/project development, and familiarity with educational curriculum standards and educational programs delivered by technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Alabama teaching certificate in mathematics and/or K-12 teaching experience in mathematics. Familiarity with Alabama Course of Study objectives for mathematics. Direct experience in K-12 programs delivered by technology. Direct experience in curriculum design for online delivery. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37835.16 Midpoint - $ 54870.36
