Performs a variety of moderately complex administrative tasks requiring some independent judgment related to ensuring the successful completion of the daily operations of Admission, Registrar and Student Financial Assistance.
Provides specialized, comprehensive support while performing a variety of intermediate to complex administrative tasks in one or more of the following areas: Transfer evaluation/articulation, classroom and event scheduling, academic records/registration, and degree clearance/commencement. Serves as an informational resource to students, parents, faculty, and other University personnel. Acts as a liaison to other Student Services offices on campus, as well as to academic departments and divisions. Monitors, reviews, and manages projects, and analyzes data and produces reports related to areas of specialized, comprehensive support. Provides general administrative support to the Office of the University Registrar. Provides customer service via the call center, email, and in person.
Position requires near continuous use of a computer, occasional lifting/moving of boxes in excess of 25 lbs.
Requires twelve months of coursework or training beyond high school and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Ellucian (Banner) and Microsoft Office Suite products. Knowledge of the operations of a student services office, as well as knowledge of related state/federal laws such as FERPA strongly preferred.
Mastery of intermediate computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
