Detailed Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing, public relations, event planning, fundraising, advertising and/or circulation responsibilities of a publication or program.

Additional Department Summary:

The Communication Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the social media efforts, public relations, graphic design, event planning, advertising and/or circulation responsibilities of a publication or program at the Student Health Center.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field and a minimum of two years of related experience OR Master's degree in a related field.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design and graphic design software such as Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe InDesign.

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to work with others in a team environment. Excellent project management and time management skills. Excellent ability to write for diverse audiences and communication channels. Demonstrated ability to develop proactive communication plans within deadlines. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Demonstrates initiative and creativity in promotional and design efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supervising and managing interns and student workers. Experience promoting clinical services, pharmaceutical services, and health programming in a college health setting. Experience in health communication campaigns. Experience in print and electronic media. Experience in web design, specifically the WordPress website platform. Experience in web space management. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
