Job Summary

The Management and Business Department at Skidmore College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track appointment in Accounting at the Visiting Assistant or Associate Professor rank beginning January or September 2016. Primary job responsibilities include excellence in teaching and participation in service for the Department and the College. We are especially interested in candidates from under-represented groups as well as individuals who have experience with diverse populations who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and service. More specifically, we seek someone who can successfully teach financial and managerial accounting courses at both the introductory and advanced levels. Additionally, ancillary skills in Finance and/or Management are desirable. All teaching is at the undergraduate level, and the normal teaching load is six courses per academic year.  

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting (MAcc, MS, MPA, etc.) and requisite teaching experience, although a Ph.D. is preferred.
