Under the general direction of the CCE Director, oversees a variety of administrative, staff support, planning activities, and facilities issues, including record keeping and database management. Manages the Driver’s Ed Program.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.
Comprehensive knowledge in administrative assistant duties, office methods, techniques, practices and procedures.
Understanding of community and continuing education, professional development, and workforce education.
Proficient in use of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
Effective interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated understanding of lines of authority related to areas of responsibility.
Ability to recognize the need to coordinate activities through appropriate supervisory levels.
Ability to take direction and consult with designated lines of authority.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to follow oral and written procedures and instructions.
Ability to meet and work with the public.
Ability to prepare and monitor budgets and department financial transactions.
