This position is full-time, with an end date of 6/25/2016, and possibility of annual renewal thereafter. Anticipated start date is January 2016. The College of Engineering at the University of Rhode Island seeks to hire a full-time joint lecturer to support the departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CVE) and Mechanical, Industrial & Systems Engineering (MCISE) in the instruction of engineering mechanics courses including statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and related courses. Teach 12 credits each semester. Courses may include (but are not limited to) statics, dynamics, and mechanics of materials. Prepare student assessment and course review materials necessary for program review by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
