Detailed Job Description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall daily administration of one or more programs. Serves as a liaison between program and other departments or community.

Additional Department Summary:

This position will assist the Director of EMS in developing, implementing, and coordinating all educational activities and programs of all EMS programs offered through our College. Employee will assist and provide education/training, teach Core Competency Course that is required for all EMT's that is required at a local and national level, teach various courses for cardiac resuscitation including but not limited to CPR, basic life saving skills, use of an AED, ect., provide QI (Quality Improvement), provide training with High Fidelity Manikin simulators, provide oversight of Regional Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Emergency Medical Techician (EMT) Courses, this position will also work in planning regional meetings.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least two (2) years of experience in a related area.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Paramedic.Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years experience in EMS with an emphasis on training. 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 29120.04 Midpoint - $ 40767.96
