Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, with additional related training; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to particular division area for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities; interacts with numerous internal and external constituents, including major donors to the University; researches and gathers information, and expedites flow of information to staff.

Plans and completes arrangements for departmental business meetings, educational seminars, and social events; attends meetings and prepares minutes for distribution; reviews contact reports; oversees special projects.

Composes and prepares various correspondence, materials, and financial and administrative reports; receives and responds to donor/constituent inquiries; prepares personal letters of invitation, thanks, explanation, information, and cultivation; monitors and records donations or event payments; monitors department budget; performs clerical duties; may supervise student staff.

Inputs data; tracks, and maintains confidential database information, records, and filing systems; organizes information and assists with matching gift program, gift acknowledgement, solicitation of donors, and mail and phone campaigns.

Screens phone messages; initiates and coordinates appointment scheduling; prepares purchase requisitions and travel arrangements, and completes final paperwork; maintains supply inventory

Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
