DIRECTOR, ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND SUPPORT SERVICES - JOB #2311

The Director, Academic Research and Support Services is a full-time professional position. The Director, Academic Research and Support Services will assist in the development, revision, and maintaining of documents, forms, document archives, reports, and data related to Academic Affairs. The Director, Academic Research and Support Services will assist with creating and maintaining reports and records to support planning, scheduling, assessment activities, and monitoring of key academic indicators such as student success rates, retention rates, completion rates, placement rates, and transfer rates; assist with entering information into the accreditation management software; assist with the development, review, and revision of accreditation reports; assist in the program review process; and assist with ensuring that the webpage content of the Academic Affairs division is kept current and accurate. This position reports to the Vice President, Academic Affairs.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in math, a science, or a related area, and significant coursework in math or statistics; high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; and ability to understand and interpret data. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Prefer experience in research and planning including the creation of reports using institutional data related to academics or educational training.

 

SALARY RANGE:     $31,800.00 - $46,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)   

                

FRINGE BENEFITS:  The value of the benefits package provided by the College is nearly 38% of the base salary and includes major medical insurance, life insurance and Florida retirement contributions.  Supplemental life, dental, vision, and disability insurance are available at group rates.  Other benefits offered include participation in the wellness program, tuition waivers, educational opportunities, and paid sick and annual leave.
