Job Summary

Skidmore College's Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Department invites applications for a full-time, regular (10 month) Head Men's Lacrosse Coach position. As a NCAA Division III institution competing in the Liberty League conference, Skidmore College offers 19 varsity sports (9 for men, 10 for women). Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching a highly competitive men's lacrosse program with oversight for all aspects of the program such as scheduling, recruitment of student-athletes, travel, fiscal planning, etc. Additionally, the successful candidate must also be qualified to assume teaching duties within the Physical Activity Program and/or home game management duties. The ability to interact comfortably with individuals and constituency groups (student-athletes, alumni, coaches, parents, etc.) is crucial to the advancement of athletics at Skidmore. Anticipated start date will be early in the fall semester.  

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years collegiate lacrosse coaching and/or playing experience is required.  

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred. Preference given to those candidates with collegiate coaching experience.
