Coordinates mandatory study hall and tutoring sessions and promote a collaborative learning environment for the student-athletes. Is responsible for monitoring the facility, supervising students and tutors and enforcing all relevant rules and policies. This position works 10-25 hours per week, primarily evenings, and a 3-hour Saturday shift 2-3 times a month.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a associate’s degree with two years of experience in youth programs or event management or a combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling four years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelors degree, or presently working towards a Bachelors degree. Experience working in academic positions a plus.
Knowledge of computer software applications.
Skill in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Skill in verbal and written interpersonal communication.
Ability to firmly, but fairly, enforce the study hall rules in a strict manner.
Ability to maintain personal information confidential.
Willingness to work with compliance regarding NCAA, WAC and University rules regarding mandatory study for student athletes.
Ability to firmly enforce study hall rules and procedures.
2 Shifts Available:
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and every other Saturday
4:00 PM to 10:00PM Monday through Thursday and every other Saturday
