Provide leadership for and coordination of academic and administrative activities including but not limited to academic advising, marketing/recruiting and course scheduling.
This position will require advising and other administrative duties at the Palatka Office, as well as support our St. Augustine and Orange Park Offices.
Support the University’s mission and core values as a contributing member of the University’s community.
Perform as the primary assistant to the Director and act as the Director during periods of his/her absence.
Supervise and coordinate all personnel and administrative activities in the assigned office.
Maintain/update student files
Recruitment of new students
Maintain a log of prospective students and your communication
Plan and execute marketing activities
Coordinate with NEFL Staff and Faculty to create appropriate course matrix
Advising of new and returning students to include, but not limited to: registering students in the Datatel system, tracking graduation status, completing or assisting with student paperwork (PUR, graduation application, financial aid documents, etc.)
Coordinate student field experience/internship placements
Assist with new student orientation and faculty meetings
Basic office functions: assist with telephone and email correspondence, maintain a clean welcoming work space, taking care of mail, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director
Excellent supervisory and customer service skills. Ability to effectively plan and organize work. Excellent computer skills.
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
