The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute is a highly respected, nationally known polling organization that conducts public opinion telephone surveys on various issues in the news (i.e., political races, public policy, etc.).
We are currently seeking dependable, articulate, and flexible individuals to conduct telephone interviews. This is a part-time position that requires both evening and weekend work.
In order to ensure that all surveys are done accurately and without bias, it is the policy of Quinnipiac University that any employees actively working with Quinnipiac University Polling Institute may not be actively participating in any of the following activities:
- In any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office either as a paid consultant or employee, or as an unpaid volunteer.
- In any attempt to influence legislation (commonly known as lobbying) either as a paid consultant or employee, or as an unpaid volunteer.
- Performing any services for a media outlet (such as an Internet news company, newspaper, radio station) either as a paid consultant or employee, or as an unpaid volunteer.
Conduct telephone surveys on various issues in the news (i.e., political races, public policy,etc.)
This is a part-time position that requires both evening and weekend work.
The hours of operation are generally Monday-Friday 5:45 to 9:30 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays 2:30 to 9 p.m.
Shift times are subject to change and additional shifts may be required at certain times.
-Must be a high school graduate.
-Have reliable car transportation to and from work.
-Have excellent verbal skills.
-Be able to follow detailed instructions.

-Be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Previous computer and phone experience helpful but not required.
