Detailed Job Description

The Student Receivables Analyst performs tasks and analyzes data related to business systems and operations for Student Receivables.

Additional Department Summary:

This position has responsibility for all student withdrawal financial calculations for both institutional charges and institutional refunds in accordance with Institutional policies and Federal aid repayment in accordance with Federal regulations. In addition, this position is the coordinating position to ensure that other involved offices enter the data into the Banner system correctly and completely to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. In conjunction with this responsibility, serves as the primary Receivables customer service representative in responding to questions concerning the financial aspects of student withdrawal. The position also performs a variety of complex accounting tasks pertaining to the Federal Perkins Loan Program Accounts and University Long Term Institutional Loan Accounts.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience; OR Master's degree.

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to make decisions based on careful analysis and thoughtful judgments. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer skills, including the ability to use software systems, personal computing networks and spread sheet applications. Must have the ability to work effectively under stress and high levels of activity. Must be able to read and interpret Federal financial aid regulations. All responsibilities require excellent organizational skills, significant attention to detail and meticulous record keeping abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business or a business related field. Experience with the financial aspects of student withdrawal calculations in an institution of higher learning is preferred. Experience in reading and interpreting Federal regulations. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37835.16 Midpoint - $ 54870.36
