Job ID:  1742

Coordinate assessment, advising, external relations functions for the Department of Accountancy, and coordinate Master of Accountancy graduate program.

Duties

Coordinate graduate program. Includes recruiting, advising, responding to RFIs, processing applications, awarding assistantships and scholarships, running orientation activities, coordinating course schedules, at-risk student tracking, and processing degree certificates.

Assessment activities. Includes conducting graduation/placement surveys (undergraduate and graduate), alumni surveys, and external surveys (e.g., AACSB, AICPA, GMAC); program reviews and accreditation reviews; maintaining department statistics (financial, enrollment, student quality, etc.)

Advising. Assisting with department advising meetings, one-on-one student advising, and CPA exam/eligibility advising; provide material to writing specialist for student planner.

External relations. Write and coordinate design for annual report and annual newsletter; maintain Facebook and LinkedIn sites; support Accountancy Advisory Group meetings; facilitate website updates; provide material to writing specialist for recruiter handbook. 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; two years of professional experience, preferably in business or accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business; masters degree; CPA.
