The Data Administrative Assistant, Faculty Human Resources (HR) provides administrative support to the American Public University System (APUS) Faculty Human Resources and Administration team. The incumbent coordinates data collection and consolidation within the department and supports the faculty activity tracking and performance management systems. This position is part-time and reports to the senior manager, faculty data research.
Assists with data entry and maintenance of databases.
Verifies the accuracy and validity of data entered in databases; corrects any errors.
Prepares tables, graphs, fact sheets, and written reports summarizing research results.
Pulls reports out of the faculty activity tracking system, faculty performance management system, and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Conducts Internet-based and library research.
Provides assistance with the preparation of project-related reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access.
Experience with SQL, Tableau and/or Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software packages preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Ability to interact with APUS constituents at all levels internally and with vendors externally.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Professional office experience required; prior experience with data analytics preferred.
