Detailed Job Description

Synopsis of Role:

The Administrative Assistant, School of Health Sciences and School of Education, performs administrative and other duties as assigned by the dean. The ideal candidate has strong research, organizational, and computer skills coupled with excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides administrative support including, but not limited to, meeting support, scheduling, travel arrangements, data gathering and compilation, report generation and tracking, expense report coordination, deadline tracking, purchase order generation and tracking and communications with staff and students.
  • Provides reception and supply maintenance support as needed.
  • Maintains files, documents, and databases as needed.
  • Runs various system-generated reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation binders required for external and internal constituents.
  • Supports preparation of documents and meeting logistics as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
