Under general direction, supervises the activities of professional recruitment staff members; develops and directs the implementation of recruitment strategies; participates as an active member of the recruitment team; manages the recruitment territory, identifying, recruiting, admitting, and enrolling academically qualified students.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three (3) years of related experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees recruitment efforts of other territory managers in their area; develops recruitment efforts and provides training, direction, and advocacy; works with other management staff in setting, assessing and meeting office, division and University goals.

Recruits students through high school visits, college nights, and presentations; establishes relationships with counselors, parents, and students; conducts off campus presentations and interviews.

Reviews applications thoroughly; admits, denies, or defers students based on University standards; awards scholarships based on academic criteria.

Prospects new students and follows up with students after acceptance, including financial aid discussion and cost/value efforts.

Represents the University for on campus programs, events, and professional meetings; performs other duties as assigned.
