Under general supervision, provides clinical office support to ensure patient satisfaction; schedules appointments, greets patients, performs phone registration (demographic and insurance) and check in/out functions. Assists with tests and procedures and verifies and checks various scheduling reports.

High school diploma or equivalent; supplemented with two (2) years of related work experience.
Schedules services and appointments, prepares referral forms for tests, procedures and specialty providers, obtains imaging and test results, verifies benefits and assists with various insurance protocols; precertifies testing and in-clinic procedures
Responsbile for orientation and training of new patient coordinators-oversees all front desk activities for assigned site to ensure patient satisfaction
Researches and resolves patient referral problems; tracks referral practice patterns.
Greets and assists visitors and patients, etc;obtains initial patient information, screens phone calls for the most effective patient care, responds to inquries and reviews requisitions
Prepares patient charts/information (outside tests result/notes) for clinic appointments.
