Detailed Job Description

The Department of History at Washington State University seeks to hire an Instructor to teach courses in European history (pre-1500), World history, as well as a course in historical writing and methods that is required for the history major.

The position is for two years and is renewable.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. by the time of appointment is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience is strongly preferred.Specific area of specialization is open and the candidate may teach courses in their area of expertise.

Monthly Salary

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
