The Department of Accounting, Carson College of Business, Washington State University, Pullman, WA, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting. Pending budgetary approval, a second position may be available as well. The position(s) will begin August 2016, with duties that include research, service, and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting.
A doctorate in accounting from an AACSB accredited school is required, although ABD will be considered as long as degree is completed by date of employment.
Candidates must have a record of submissions/publications, or demonstrate the ability to publish, in top tier academic accounting journals and a desire to take an active role working with doctoral students.
To be considered as Associate Professor, the candidate must have at least 6 years of experience as an assistant professor or equivalent.
Individuals with teaching interests in all areas of accounting will be considered with preference given to candidates with evidence of teaching interest in more than one area of accounting.
