Washington State University is soliciting applications from specialists in the fields listed below to lead the development and delivery of curriculum content in their field for the WSU College of Medicine scheduled to open in the fall of 2017.
These specialists will be appointed as clinical faculty with WSU (10% to 20% FTE), and will work as part of a team of clinicians in a wide range of fields to prepare a curriculum that will be ready for submission to the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) for accreditation review by the spring of 2016.
-M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
-Board certification in specialty field, as appropriate
-At least five years of clinical practice in specialty field
-Experience teaching medical students in an LCME-accredited medical school
