This Clinical Assistant Professor position will teach in distance-learning programs and actual classroom, maintain an active research program targeting Marketing or international business journals, make service contributions to his/her department, college, university, community, and profession.
The term of appointment is a nine-month academic year, beginning on August 16, 2016. Normal teaching load is nine hours (3 courses per semester). Rank and salary are open; benefits are competitive; the retirement system is TIAA/CREF. Initial summer research support is normally available for more junior faculty; competitive summer research grants are also normally available. In addition, the department maintains a large, multifunctional behavior lab and subject pool for research purposes.
Earned Ph.D. in International Business, Marketing or closely aligned field from a nationally or internationally recognized university by September 1, 2016. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and teaching effectiveness. Demonstrated record of research published in and current research targeted towards marketing journals.
The preferred candidate must be capable of teaching large sections of the Introductory International Business course and/or various marketing and international business electives; international work experience; demonstrated knowledge and excellence of teaching at the MBA and/or executive levels. Research interests need not be directly related to teaching areas.
