The Department of Theater and Dance at Colby College invites applications for a three-semester Visiting Assistant Professor position to start February 2016. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching, mentoring, and advising a diverse population of liberal arts undergraduate students. Responsibilities include teaching five courses per year in the acting, directing and stage directing (one course equivalency) areas, advising, serving on departmental committees, and collaborating on departmental productions and special events. Qualifications: M.F.A. or Ph.D. and experience in classical and contemporary acting and directing methods within an academic and/or professional setting.
