Detailed Job Description
The Assistant Director of Administrative Services for Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing and strategic communications plans and campaigns for the College of Continuing Studies.
Additional Department Summary:
The Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing and strategic communications plans and campaigns for the College of Continuing Studies, including overall CCS marketing (college-wide marketing to build brand and promote special areas and programs of CCS) and marketing for 3 CCS divisions. Manages and directs the CCS central marketing staff on the implementation of targeted, collaborative marketing plans for the overall CCS and individual programs and courses, including advertising, public relations strategies, and promotional materials. Maintains fiscal responsibility for ensuring the marketing budget is spent in a responsible and successful manner.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; OR Master's degree and a minimum of one year of related experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in marketing, including direct marketing, brand marketing, print, and/or digital. Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis, develop marketing strategies and materials, and develop academic and non-academic programs. Experience with organizational marketing and CRM systems. Experience with using appropriate marketing-related software such as e-blast, CRM, Content Management, and HTML web design software. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong verbal, writing, planning and organizational skills. Team building and supervisory experience. Advanced knowledge of current and innovative application software implementing marketing across multiple channels (email, webinars, SEM/SEO, PPC, display, retargeting, social, events, etc.). Superior written and verbal communication skills. High energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful. Ability to manage and set expectations of execution and results of marketing campaigns.
Master's Degree and five (5) years of experience in communication, marketing, public relations, sales management, or related business field is preferred. Experience in marketing higher education non-degree programs, including certificates, professional certification, and conferences. Experience supervising a diverse marketing staff and projects. 59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 43887.96 Midpoint - $ 63648.00
