FULL-TIME STAFF ASSOCIATE FOR INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH: Office of Institutional Research and Planning, Haverhill Campus. 37.5 hours per week (Non-unit Professional position).
Primary responsibility is to conduct internal and external research and to help design an institutional plan for collection and distribution of related information and reports. Collect data through various survey instruments. Design and maintain databases for various reporting and analytic purposes, including student retention and outcomes, and state and federal reporting. Prepare statistical reports on Northern Essex Community College students, graduates, faculty & staff. Other duties may include: Coordinate telephone follow-up calls to Northern Essex Community College graduates; complete reports for the Massachusetts Department of Education and other state and federal agencies; prepare reports for NECC faculty and academic departments; track outcomes and trends of Northern Essex Community College graduates and students and prepare data to be used in program planning & review; act as a liaison between survey participants and Northern Essex Community College as well as various Northern Essex Community College departments as needed. Supervise work-study students and interns. Publish research reports to the departmental website. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Must have demonstrated skills and experience in quantitative and qualitative research, report writing, data analysis, SPSS, Access and Excel. Have a strong customer service focus and excellent organizational & interpersonal skills. Experience with SQL and SCT Banner desirable. Experience in a higher education setting, especially a community college is desirable.
Salary: $41,938 to $52,000 with full benefits package. Salary will commensurate with experience and education.
