Assistant Professor of Maritime Administration

TAMUG seeks a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Maritime (Business) Administration to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business with a focus on domestic and foreign waterborne commerce and port management. Appointee will also engage in student advising and university service. This is a full-time, nine month renewable position. The anticipated start date is the Fall 2013 Semester.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or D.B.A. with a background in the maritime industry. Preference will be given to applicants with two or more years of university and/or college teaching experience.

Instructional Assistant Professor of economics and statistics

TAMUG seeks a non-tenure track Instructional Assistant Professor of Maritime Administration to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in economics and statistics. Appointee will also engage in student advising and university service. This is a full-time, nine month renewable position. The anticipated start date is the Fall 2013 Semester.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in the maritime industry and two or more years of university/college teaching experience.


Instructional Assistant Professor of Management and Supply chain

Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) seeks a non-tenure track Instructional Assistant Professor of Maritime (Business) Administration to teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in management and logistics. The appointee will also engage in student advising and university service. This is a full-time, nine month renewable position. The anticipated start date is the Fall 2013 Semester.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Management or Logistics. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in the maritime industry and two or more years of university and/or college teaching experience.
