Coordinates the RLC Testing Center which provides test proctoring services for approved Miami University students (including students registered with Student Disability Services, Miami University students taking online coursework at other institutions, and/or students needing to take the Miller’s Analogy Test (MAT).
Provides oversight to the daily operations and administration of the RLC Testing Center.
Ensures integrity of the testing environment.
Ensures smooth functioning of the center and that all testing materials (including exams, student and faculty communications,
etc.) are secure.
Provides excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students engaging with the RLC Testing Center.
Oversees and coordinates the scheduling of exams utilizing appropriate scheduling software.
Maintains accurate records to a high level of confidentiality and security.
Serves as the primary liaison between faculty and the testing center to send and receive information about exams.
Facilitates communication between Student Disability Services and the RLC Testing Center staff regarding student specific
Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff essential to the functioning of the RLC Testing Center.
Implements effective test proctoring procedures including the maintenance of comprehensive proctoring notes and
documentation of potential academically dishonest behavior.
Investigates and resolves problems or difficulties related to the administration and proctoring of exams.
Gathers and analyzes statistical information related to the RLC Testing Center.
Produces reports as requested.
Answers inquiries and provides information regarding the RLC Testing Center policies and procedures.
Develops and updates RLC Testing Center informational materials including the Rinella Learning Center website.
Serves as back-up to the front office staff (i.e. administrative assistant and program associate).
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of the Rinella Learning Center
Experience working with students and excellent organizational and communication skills. Additional qualifications include:

Facility with learning current and emerging computer software packages.
