Detailed Job Description

Applications are invited for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track position to teach undergraduate courses in Early childhood Education, serve as lead faculty member to plan and implement the early childhood education technology program (associate degree) and the early childhood teacher education program (bachelor’s degree). The candidate will supervise student field and student teaching experience and recruit and advise students.

Candidate should have completed a Ph.D. by June 2015 or be 
ABD with a completion date of December 2015. Ph.D. studies should have an emphasis in early childhood education or a related field. Three years Prek-3 teaching experience and certification are required. Candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service. Preferred candidates should experience in K-3, special education, grant writing, and distance learning, and have an interest/background in collaboration with ‘rural’ schools/area.
