The Director of Strength and Conditioning provides expertise, guidance, and training to the intercollegiate athletic teams in the areas of strength development, physical conditioning, speed and agility, and injury prevention.
The Director will also provide oversight of the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Design, implement and oversee strength and conditioning of all athletic teams.
Coordinate schedules for athletic team strength and conditioning.
Responsible for the overall image and environment of the fitness center.
Increase strength, fitness, and conditioning of intercollegiate athletes
Maintain records for usage of all athletes.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and enforce safety procedures.
Make recommendations to the athletic director for capital equipment purchases.
Coordinate activities with the athletic training staff for required rehabilitative programs.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university or college.
NSCA or CSCS certified.
Ability to balance requests of various programs.
Demonstrated ability to use computer programs.
Bachelors’ degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
